Welcome to KEYDRIVE S.A. Holdings
KeyDrive was created in June 2011 through the merge of Key-Systems GmbH and NameDrive S.A. Founded in 1998 by Alexander Siffrin, Key-Systems has specialized on domain registration and related internet services. The company currently offers a portfolio of over 300 domain extensions. Key-Systems has subsidiaries in the USA and Mexico and holds shares of several internet related companies, among them the Internet consulting experts Thomsen Trampedach, the Polish registrar AZ.pl. The technical registry provider KSregistry GmbH is a fully owned Key-Systems subsidiary. Furthermore, the fully-owned Key-Systems subsidiary SKYWAY DataCenter not only offers worldwide customers hosting, colocation, vCloud hosting and root/managed severs; the data center also serves as a technical backbone of the KeyDrive affiliated companies.
NameDrive is one of the largest parking companies in the world. The international company has its headquarters in Luxembourg, a technical center in Bucharest, and a US office in Texas. Furthermore NameDrive is connected to a Spanish partner office in Santiago and a Japanese partner and support in Tokyo. NameDrive offers parking solutions with targeted premium landing pages and thus perfectly fits the KeyDrive strategy of providing customers with high quality one-stop solutions related to Internet addresses.
With the acquisition of Moniker LLC and SnapNames Inc. in January 2012, the product range and geographical direction of KeyDrive was extended. Moniker is one of the top 15 ICANN accredited registrars for generic top-level domains on the international market. The company has a strong reputation for being a provider of reliable and safe domain registrations, especially in the USA. Together with SnapNames, Moniker opens up the secondary domain market to KeyDrive S.A., bridging the gap in the secondary life cycle of domain names. This includes domain sale (brokerage), domain auctions and the targeted registration immediately after the release of previously registered Internet addresses (backordering).
The purchase of Moniker and Snapnames – two leaders in the domain aftermarket – perfectly fits KeyDrive’s global growth strategy. The KeyDrive group now has a large global outreach, targets a broader customer base and allows the group members to perfectly cross-sell their services. Furthermore, all European clients gain access to US buyers and sellers of domain names.
